Merry Christmas from 3CS
Wednesday 11th November
Today, we had our last show of the Christmas Production. The children have worked so hard and produced three magnificent shows. Thank you very much for all the help in getting costumes ready and helping the children to learn their lines and the songs. Below are some pictures from the last show.
Friday 29th November
Please find below the costume list for this year's Christmas Production. If you don't have exactly what is on the list don't worry, anything you think is suitable will be fine. There will be a dress rehearsal on Friday 6th December so if the children could have all their costumes and any props they are bringing from home, that would be great.
Wednesday 27th November
Today, we have created 4 times table maths museums. We worked in pairs to create our museums using a variety of equipment and images.
Wednesday 20th November
Christmas Production Songs
Here are the songs for our Christmas production. If you could encourage the children to listen to these songs, it would be very helpful.
Monday 18th November
Today, we have been looking at Stonehenge and designing our own stone circles.

Anti-Bullying Week - Change Starts with Us
This week is Anti-Bullying Week which all started off with our odd socks day on Monday. As a class, we have been thinking and talking about what we can do to help prevent bullying and what changes we can make to ensure everyone feels safe and included in school. The children produced some fantastic individual pieces of work to show what they could do to help.
Monday 4th November
We had an exciting treat today as the Star Dome came to visit. 3CS experienced the night sky, looking at the different seasonal skies as well as hearing Greek myths about how the stars came into being.
Tuesday 29th October
Today, 3CS have been seeing what it would be like to be an archaeologist. We have been looking for Stone Age artefacts and trying to decide which stones and rocks were actual artefacts and explaining why we thought that.

Stone Age Cave Paintings
Monday 7th October
Today, Year 3 visited St Peter's Church to learn all about the celebration of Harvest. The children heard Bible stories and took part in a range of activities kindly put on by the members of the church. We all planted seeds and have brought the plants back to school to watch them grow in our classrooms. We all had a lovely time!
Wednesday 11th September
It was lovely to see so many of you at Meet the Teacher last night. We have attached the PowerPoint to this post, so you can access all the information we talked about.
