Stamford Park Junior School is committed to meeting the requirements of the primary National Curriculum. Our fully comprehensive schemes of work for each year group reflect the content and challenge of the curriculum. Teachers have received training in key areas of curriculum change and are effective at providing outstanding curriculum provision in the school.
The curriculum is taught with the consideration of the needs of all learners to ensure each and every child is supported through their learning. Our curriculum is creative and will inspire our children to nurture a passion for learning that will continue with them throughout their future. Our aim is to ensure that children are prepared for, and have an appreciation of, life in modern Britain.
Our curriculum is currently being updated to meet the new Ofsted Framework; new curriculum outlines for each year group will be available by autumn 2019 on the website.
Further information regarding the individual curriculum taught in the four different year groups is available under "Curriculum." In addition, detailed subject policies are available on the website for each subject under the "Key Information" menu and "Policies."
If you have any questions about the curriculum we teach, please contact the school office directly.
